In conjunction with reading Goldengrove and writing an Amazon review, as our final project for our Methods class we had to create a unit plan for teaching the novel in our classrooms. At first, I was extremely apprehensive and unsure as to how exactly I wanted to teach this novel. I reread it again,in order to become more familiar with it; as the chapters went on, my ideas started to come. I am very pleased and proud of how this novel unit turned out. It took a lot of hard work and dedication, and is definitely the product of everything I have learned this semester. If there are any questions, feel free to contact me using my email address, which is located on my resume. Below is a lesson plan calendar, which gives the different lessons that will be featured in this unit plan. Click on the title of any lesson to view that particular lesson for the day.
